It’s important for moms to recognize that all the small successes in our days can add up to one big triumph. So on Thursday of each week, we do exactly that. To participate go here!
1.) Mr. Carefree and the family celebrated his First Holy Communion. He was dignified, poised and prepared. LOVE Catholic Schools and our Pastor for such excellent preparation.
2.) HH had 35th birthday with his favorites, Chicken Enchiladas and Cherry Cheesecake. Bought him a new grill for the big day, left the old one for the trashman, however, passerbyers took it instead. One man's trash is another man's treasure.
3.) Threw out SIX broken big toys! Love the extra room.
Pending Success:
4.) Will sweep and mop today, as the calendar has finally slowed, and crusty food crumbs have accumulated beyond comprehension.

As for one man's trash...while hubby and I were in graduate school, the old recliner that was too broken for his father (that we had for several years) broke even further, we bought a glider rocker to replace it. We dragged the recliner (now too broken for 2 generations of his family) next to the dumpster. Two hours later (and not a trash pickup day) it was gone. Go figure!
Congrats on the 1st Communion! What a wonderful week you had :).
